HomeVaultHQ ("we", "us") is operated by Hitchens Group. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR. We are the data controller for your account.
What we collect
Your name and email when you register; the documents, dates, property details, vehicles, appliances and notes you choose to store; and payment details, which are handled entirely by Stripe (we never see or store your card number).
How we use it
To provide the service: storing your records, sending the reminders you set up, and managing your subscription. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your documents for advertising.
Storage and security
Your data is hosted in the United Kingdom (London region) on Supabase. It is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to your household through row-level security. Documents are kept in a private store and served only to you through short-lived signed links.
Third parties
We use Stripe (payments), Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), and email delivery providers to send verification and reminder emails. Each processes data only to provide their part of the service.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data at any time. Email support@homevaulthq.com and we will respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account from the app, which removes your data after a short grace period.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. After you delete your account we remove your records and stored files, retaining only the minimal records we are legally required to keep.
